Aluminium enclosed safety switches and switch-disconnectors 16 to 600 Amperes

Optimized logistics
ABB offers a complete range of aluminium enclosed switch-disconnectors and safety switches from 16 up to 600 Amperes. The range includes 3 and 4 pole versions, front or side operated with black or red handles.

Reliable in extreme conditions
The enclosures are made of rigid and high quality dye casted aluminium alloy for durability in demanding conditions, indoor or outdoor. ABB’s safety switches are EMC approved, therefore suitable for environments with electromagnetic disturbances.

Safety and protection
All the enclosed and safety switches have been tested according to IEC 60947-3 standard. All the switches starting from 125 A have an arc proof enclosure with built-in expander washers and security latches for enhanced safety. The switches from 125 to 600 A include defeatable interlocks and the switch insert has visible contacts. The safety switches are equipped with an auxiliary contact for electrical interlocking, by connecting the switch to a starter or other motor control device.
